If you message us, I'm the one who answers. Usually the same day.

I try to make this as smooth as I can — you'll know what's happening, what it costs and when we can come. No waiting around wondering whether anyone read your message.

And this is Umer.

He came to Australia from Pakistan and finished a master's degree in IT. He did a painting qualification at the same time, on the side, and by the end of it he knew which of the two he'd rather do. He's working on a construction diploma now.

He runs the work. He's on site, he trains the crew, and he's the one who decides how your floor gets done.

He can do a fifteen-hour day and still be laughing at the end of it. If you ever hear him on the phone, you'll hear a lot of "sure, sir" and "sure, madam". That's him.

He also doesn't mind the drive. If you're further out than most, it's worth asking.

How we work.

Umer is on site. I'm on the laptop. Behind us is a crew that does the work to the standard he sets.

I'm the one who writes the quote up, finds a date that works for you, keeps you posted, and sorts the invoice afterwards. I also put the finished jobs on here, so you can see what we actually do rather than take our word for it.

Most small trades are good at the work or good at everything around it. We decided to take both seriously.
